Chemokine, cc motif, ligand 22 (CCL22) which can also be known as macrophage-derived chemokine (MDC) and small inducible cytokine subfamily A, member 22 (SCY22), is not particularly related to other chemokines. It only displays approx. 37% amino acid similarity with the thymus- and activation-regulated chemokine (TARC).
