Feline coronavirus (FCoV) is infectious to cats throughout the world, and it is caused by a positive stranded RNA. Feline infectious peritonitis (FIP) exists in two different forms: FIP and FIPV. On the whole the majority of cats that are infected tend to recover fully and also develop immunity to corona virus.
