Free Cortisol Saliva ELISA Kit

Cortisol that can also be called compound F hydrocortisone is produced in the adrenal cortex within the zona fasciculate or the zona reticularis. Majority of it is found to bound either to cortisol-binding globulins (CBG)(around 90%) or albumin (approx. 7%), whilst only a small fraction between 1-3% is found either as unconjugated or free.
