Noradrenaline (also known as norepinephrine) mainly functions in the brain and it is a member of the catecholamines family. Outside of the brain, one of its primary roles again is of a neurotransmitter through the sympathetic ganglia or it can be directly into the blood steam through the adrenal glands.
