PharmaVent® Spike Vent 0.2µm vent filter

PharmaVent® Spike Vent uses an integrated 0.2µm PTFE hydrophobic filter allowing ingress of sterile air whilst protecting the drug from external contamination.

It is advised that a sterile venting device be used during the preparation of cytotoxics and other hazardous chemicals to adequately protect the operator from harmful aerosols.

An anti-coring plastic spike provides safe, needle-free access in accordance with the European Sharps Directive.

Each Spike Vent has a female luer lock connection with a polypropylene cap, reducing the risk of contact contamination.

Each device is supplied CE marked and individually blister packed.
