A wide tipped pen designed to prevent frozen sections from falling off, moving or wrinkling on the slide during immunostaining procedures. The pen provides a sticky membrane that is applied to the slide before placement of the section. The membrane is stable up to 110°C and is suitable for vigorous applications such as in situ hybridisation and antigen retrieval by microwaving for frozen sections.
