A slow-medium very fine grain emulsion that is favoured for routine applications. If the application requires a faster film, for example in very high resolution microscopy, then SO-163 is recommended. Coated onto a 0.17mm (0.007") polyester base overcoated with a hardebed gelatin for protection. Use a red or brown safelight (1A, OA, or OC) and D19 developer.
