Automation for Continuous Glucose Monitoring Device Production

Continuous glucose monitors run on the patient's body for days at a time, which means every sensor and housing component has to meet a higher bar for reliability than a typical consumer electronic. WEISS automation addresses the two hardest parts of this build: microdroplet-accurate reagent dispensing for the sensor itself, achieved on a precision linear system with a granite base, and robust housing assembly using laser welding to keep moisture and knocks out. Both processes can run on the same modular platform alongside optical inspection, giving manufacturers a single automated line that covers sensor production, housing assembly and quality checks rather than three separate systems bolted together.
