Cardiac Arrest Emergency Training for Church Volunteers

Knowing how to respond to someone in cardiac arrest is an important part of building a safer environment for staff, visitors and customers. This subject aligns closely with the practical skills taught on ABC Training Services’ Automated External Defibrillation course for people who may need to act in an emergency. ABC Training Services’ Automated External Defibrillation course covers the primary survey, CPR, unconscious casualty management, chest pain including angina, cardiac arrest, the chain of survival, use of an AED and casualty handover. Training is designed to build practical confidence so learners can assess the situation, give appropriate first aid and support a casualty until further help takes over.
